WORK EXPERIENCE
Slalom Consulting Seattle, WA
QA Manager February 2009 – Present
As the first QA specialist ever hired to the Slalom National Team, I am responsible for developing standards and processes to foster quality for the national group that provides coverage across every office across the country. It’s a unique position that blends my passion for QA with the ability to lead groups to achieve team goals.
I oversee all QA measures for Slalom’s national mobility practice. I estimate time and costs associated with QA and hold teams accountable and on track to release on time and on budget.
I lead regular project triage meetings and statuses that help flush out trends and issues before they grow into roadblocks.
I develop new reports when needed to better show information that’s important to the success of the project and team. There’s always a new way to show information and finding the one that works for my given audience is a welcome challenge.

LexisNexis Bellevue, WA
Lead Software Quality Assurance Engineer May 2006 – August 2009
I joined LexisNexis in 2006 as a Software Lead Test Engineer in the Bellevue office. I
was responsible for managing test teams and test integration to gain coverage of web and desktop applications as well establish acquired company products as part of the LexisNexis brand.
Working in an Agile development life cycle on a small dedicated team, our teams projects had a reputation of being delivered on time and on budget. I wrote and reviewed test plans, specifications, and test cases for both medium and large projects. I had the pleasure of announcing that most successful product, (released 3/01/09) has had over 5000 downloads with no bugs reported.
I reported quality metrics, and developed the standards and procedures for achieving those measurements. In addition to this, I would often train new hires when they came onboard.
I would often spearheaded internal brain storming sessions designed to foster innovation and product solutions; both customer and internal facing, as well as ran on-going bug bashes
